Use screenshots, photos, or reproductions of our products in misleading, unauthorized, or commercial contexts

Reverse engineer, digitally recreate, or create similar designs based on our original artwork

Claim ownership, authorship, or creation of any Salt & Light FW designs or content

Enforcement of Our Intellectual Property Rights: Salt & Light FW actively monitors for and vigorously protects against unauthorized use of our intellectual property. We employ digital monitoring services, conduct marketplace surveillance, and investigate reports of infringement. Intellectual property theft harms our business, our designers, and our creative community.

If we discover unauthorized use of our copyrighted artwork, designs, trademarks, or other intellectual property, we reserve and will exercise all rights and remedies available under federal and state law, including but not limited to:

Immediate cease and desist demands requiring you to stop all unauthorized use

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown notices to remove infringing content from websites, marketplaces, and social media platforms

Trademark infringement actions under the Lanham Act (15 U.S.C. § 1051 et seq.)

Legal action seeking temporary restraining orders and preliminary/permanent injunctions to immediately halt unauthorized use

Claims for actual damages suffered by Salt & Light FW as a result of your infringement

Recovery of all profits you earned, derived, or obtained from unauthorized use of our intellectual property

Statutory damages of up to $150,000 per work infringed under 17 U.S.C. § 504(c) for willful copyright infringement

Enhanced damages for willful trademark infringement

Destruction of all infringing materials, products, and inventory in your possession or control

Recovery of our attorneys' fees, litigation costs, expert witness fees, and investigation expenses

Referral to law enforcement for criminal prosecution where applicable under 18 U.S.C. § 2319 (criminal copyright infringement)

Reports to relevant platforms, marketplaces, payment processors, and authorities

We pursue maximum penalties available under law for unauthorized use of our intellectual property. Willful or commercial infringement will be met with aggressive legal action. The use of our designs without authorization constitutes theft of creative work and misappropriation of our brand identity, and will be treated with the full force of available legal remedies.

Good Faith Notice: If you believe you may have inadvertently used our intellectual property without authorization, contact us immediately at [email protected] to resolve the matter before legal action becomes necessary. Prompt cooperation and cessation of use may be considered in our enforcement decisions.
